Job Overview
Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13‑week assignment in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The assignment will begin on 07/20/2026 and will involve 12‑hour day shifts with occasional 12‑hour afternoon shifts.
Responsibilities- Work 12‑hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with occasional 12‑hour afternoon shifts (11:00 AM to 11:00 PM) as needed.
- Work every third weekend or two weekends per six weeks; block scheduling is available.
- Participate in a rotating holiday schedule.
- No on‑call or standby requirement.
- Manage all Labor and Delivery (L&D) diagnoses, including preeclampsia, HELLP, placenta previa, preterm labor, and premature rupture of membranes.
- Unit has 7 L&D beds, 2 operating‑room suites for C‑sections, and 17 postpartum beds with approximately 950‑1,000 births per year.
- Follow AWHONN staffing‑ratio guidelines.
- Float to the MBU/Antepartum area on the same floor as LDR.
- Responsible for admission, preparation, and recovery in the LDR area; does not circulate for C‑sections.
- Perform both mother and baby recovery, as there is no dedicated newborn nursery RN.
- Titrate IV drips, including insulin and oxytocin.
- OB Tech typically present on each shift; an OB provider is available 24/7 with MFM on call and a neonatologist as needed.
- 24/7 anesthesia is available in house.
- Work with the Corometric EFM system with Cerner/Fetalink and chart in Cerner.
- Wear hospital‑provided scrubs.
- Complete a 3‑day orientation: one hospital‑specific day and two unit‑specific days.
- Clock in and out at the facility.
- Registered Nurse licensure in Wisconsin.
- Required certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). - BSN degree not required.
Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,664. Contract completion bonus: $500.
