Shift: 12H Nights 12 hour shifts. Every other weekend and holiday. (can also do 36 hrs)

Required:
BLS, ACLS preferred
*** Local Rate:
Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility.*- # Beds: 29.
- Nurse:
Patient Ratios: 1:4 (days), 1:6 (nights).
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients:
Abdominal Surgeries, Ear/Nose/Throat Surgeries, Complex wounds, General Medical.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: IVs, Drains, Ostomies, Wound Vacs, NG tubes, Foley Catheters, Electronic Health Record,
** Intermediate Care background.
- Are RN's required to titrate drips:
Yes
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips:
Heparin, also (infrequently) insulin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro.
- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit Are RN's required to read their own strips What brand are the tele monitors:
Both, RNs are not required to read telemetry. Techs monitor and call the nurse for any concerns, they record the patient's rhythms in the EHR. There is a monitor on the unit for the RNs to see their patients' rhythms also.
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Does the charge nurse take an assignment:
Charge nurse takes a smaller assignment. Agency staff not required to work in charge role.
- Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios:
Yes, 1:8 (days), 1:14 (nocs).
- RT/Equipment:
Cpap, Bipap, vapotherm, occasional tracheostomy, no vents.
- Shifts & Scheduling:
We do not guarantee block scheduling, but we do make every effort to give block schedules whenever possible, especially for night shifts.
- Weekend Requirements: EOW.
- Holiday Requirements: EOH.
- Is there Call or a Standby requirement:
No call.
- Floating Requirements:
Float on a rotation to other med/surg units if our unit is overstaffed.
- Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs Provided:
Scrubs of any color.
- Unit/Department Specific Orientation: 12 hours computer training, 12 hours shadowing.
* MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield. If clinician previously worked with Marshfield, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.
* All clinicians must clock in and out at facility

Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks Charting System:
