Role Overview

The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides patient-centered care by supporting daily living activities and assisting with basic healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Key responsibilities include bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and emotional support, as well as administering delegated tasks and treatments. The NA records vital signs and other health information, collects non-invasive biological specimens, and performs clerical duties related to patient scheduling and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred, with requirements for registry listing depending on the state.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state-specific competency certifications.
  • Strong communication, organization, and compassionate patient care skills.

This role offers flexible hours and involves varying responsibilities focused on delivering quality healthcare support in a clinical setting.
