American Traveler is seeking a Radiology RN for a Level 2 trauma facility, requiring 2+ years of diagnostic and procedural RN experience.
Requirements- Active WI or compact RN license required
- BLS (AHA) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of diagnostic RN experience required
- Procedural experience required
- IV starts requiredBSN not required
- Acute care setting within the Diagnostics/Radiology department at a Level 2 trauma facility
- Provides pre, inter, and post-procedural care for multiple radiology procedures
- May float to any modality within radiology including MRI, Mammography, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and General Radiology
- Uses Cerner EMR/PACS system
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
- No standard on-call requirements, though 1-2 weekend or holiday coverage days may be introduced during the contract
- In-house radiologist available on site
- Provides direct patient care before, during, and after various radiology procedures
- Receives department-specific orientation
- No self-scheduling or block scheduling offered
- Scrubs are not provided
- All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
- Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
