For over 75 years, Chamberlain Oil Co has been a family-owned business, distributing lubricants and related products to various industries throughout the Midwest. We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Territory Manager to support our outside sales team in the North Metro of the Twin Cities, with a radius extending up to the North Shore and into Wisconsin. This role will actively promote and sell Chamberlain Oil’s full line of products while building strong, long-term customer partnerships.
Job DescriptionAs a Territory Manager at Chamberlain Oil, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, increasing brand awareness, and strengthening customer relationships within an assigned territory. This is a field-based position and requires a disciplined, self-motivated sales professional who can effectively manage a territory, identify growth opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer service.

- Increase the awareness of the Chamberlain Oil brand within assigned territory
- Develop and execute a strategic, organized territory coverage plan to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Conduct consistent, structured sales calls to targeted prospects and existing customers
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with the sales manager to identify expansion opportunities within the territory
- Coordinate with customer service team to ensure seamless order entry, delivery accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain strong product knowledge through vendor training, internal training, and ongoing professional development
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, customer updates, pipeline reports, and expense reports
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and company events as requested
- Manage multiple priorities across a broad geographic territory while adapting to customer and market needs
- Help address and resolve customer concerns related to products or service in a timely and professional manner
- Follow company policies and procedures related to sales, credit, inventory, and delivery processes
Qualifications- 1–3 years of sales experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based software platforms
- Self-motivated with a strong results-driven mindset
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Professional and positive attitude when working with customers and colleagues
- Detail-oriented, with strong time management skills and the ability to organize daily, weekly, and monthly schedules
