Service Technician - Second Shift

Job Title Heavy Duty Truck Assembler Technician Location Marshfield Wisconsin Company Interstate Assembly Systems We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced technicianmechanic to join our team as a Heavy Duty Truck Assembler Technician In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance troubleshooting repair and servicing of IMT Fassi Palfinger Prentice PM cranes and service trucks used in various industries Your expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems will be essential in ensuring the reliability and functionality to our fleet customers and internal pool of service trucks Additionally you will be tasked with conducting routine inspections performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top notch service Mechanic

Job Duties Responsible for troubleshooting maintenance and repair on all types of truck bodies and associated components No engine work work is focused on chassis mounted components Diagnose repair adjust and modify all heavy duty components

Positive interface with service writers foreman parts department and customers

Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion

Meet requirements for certifications

Administrative duties as related to position

Desired Skills and Qualities Self starter ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to follow work orders

Ability to determine needed repairs for cranes and trucks

Ability to disassemble cranes and keep track of parts for reassembly

Ability to rebuild hydraulic cylinders

Ability to rebuild PTOAbility to run and test cranes

General knowledge of hydraulics

Knowledge of relays

Electrical knowledge preferred

Welding preferred

Experience

Education Prior experience in automotive or heavy equipment assembly mechanics or a related field 1 3 years preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience working in a fast paced environment

Experience with Lean Methodologies preferred

Experienced with all material handling equipment such as forklifts & Reach lifts

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong multi tasking skills

Ability to lift 25 50lbs routinely
