Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in Tennessee - 24 Hour Call Coverage
Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician locums opportunity in Tennessee providing inpatient call coverage for unassigned patients.
Highlights
- 24-hour call-only role
- Low patient volume per shift
- GYN surgical cases available while onsite
Practice Setting
- 10-bed obstetric department
- 4 to 6 RNs and 2 APPs onsite
- No supervision of APPs required
- EPIC EMR
Schedule
- 24-hour call shifts
- 30-minute response time
- Primarily covering unassigned patients
- Minimal phone consults and admits per shift
Cases and Procedures
- Low and high-risk pregnancies
- 1 to 3 patients per shift on average
- C-sections, VBACs, breech, and multiples
- Minor office GYN and surgical GYN procedures preferred
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician
- Active Tennessee license or IMLC LOQ
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, DEA
