In this pivotal role, you will be the heartbeat of student support, bridging the gap between academic rigor and student success. You will manage the student experience from the inside while serving as an outward-facing ambassador for our programs.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead with Impact: Oversee the delivery of comprehensive support services for both undergraduate and graduate business students.
Supervise & Mentor: Directly supervise and guide two Graduate Assistants, fostering their professional development and ensuring efficient office operations.
Promote the College: Represent the CBGA at various regional events and recruitment fairs. This role includes occasional travel throughout the state to promote our programs and engage with prospective Skyhawks.
Advocate for Success: Serve as a primary point of contact for student issues, resolving challenges with patience, flexibility, and a focus on retention.
Innovate & Collaborate: Work closely with faculty and administration to implement new ideas and constructive suggestions that improve the student journey.
Qualifications What You Bring to the Table
We are looking for a professional who balances high-level organization with a genuine "student-first" heart.
Education:
A bachelor's degree and six years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. One to two years in a student services role is required. Preferred education and experience are a master's degree with three years' experience as a student services coordinator in higher education and an organizer of activities and events involving 25 or more participants.
Leadership & Organization: Ability to manage a team (GAs) and coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Communication & Ambassadorship: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally represent the University to external audiences.
Adaptability: A flexible approach to problem-solving and a willingness to travel as needed to promote our mission.
Professionalism: A commitment to treating every student and colleague with respect and openness to constructive feedback.

Banner, Flight Plan, DASH, Canvas, etc.
