• Produce and install interior and exterior orientation signage, printed signage, information and interpretive fabric banners, kiosk education media, and other visitor information products for Rosie the Riveter WWII Homefront NHP, John Muir NHP, Port Chicago Naval Magazine NM, and Eugene O'Neill NHP.
• Plan visual aspects of printed materials such as pamphlets, posters, handouts, activity schedules, and other similar materials; create flyers supporting interpretive programs for promotion across the four parks.
• Carry out visual aspects of public awareness and community engagement programs, including development of logos and posters to publicize special events in collaboration with park partners.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Graphic Design or related field, or an AA/HS Degree in Graphic Design, visual communications, visual arts, or related field with an additional minimum of 7 years of experience in Graphic Design in the context of interpretation for parks, project management, or previously completed training in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of methods, standards, techniques, and materials used in the design, production, and reproduction of visual products; understanding of NPS and interagency policies, guidelines, and standards related to websites, on-line applications, audio-visual productions, publications, and signage, including the NPS Graphic Identity Program and accessibility requirements.
• Proficiency with Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

  Work is normally performed in an office setting; when performed outside the office, tasks may involve field environments or uncomfortable locations (dirty, dusty, cold, hot, wet).
