School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional – Building Connections Academy – Martinez, CA

AboutThe Role
- Hours:
In-person, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm. - Pay: $22–$28/HR (based on experience, certification, and education).
- Certification:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required or willingness to become certified within 90 days (paid training included!).
As a School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional, you’ll provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support to students with autism and other developmental differences. You’ll help students develop communication, social, and life skills while fostering a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in related field preferred).
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- Required immunizations including MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hep B, and TB clearance (within 4 years).
