A growing environmental and construction services organization is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental remediation and civil construction projects from planning through execution. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, field operations, subcontractors, technical teams, and client relationships while ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental remediation, federal contracting, construction management, and project execution. This position requires a hands‑on leader capable of managing multiple projects, driving operational excellence, and delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

• Manage environmental remediation and civil construction projects from initiation through completion.
• Lead and supervise project teams, field personnel, subcontractors, and technical staff.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Prepare project estimates, technical proposals, work plans, and project reports.
• Monitor project performance to ensure compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Manage contract execution, change orders, and project closeout documentation.
• Conduct project status reviews and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Support business development efforts through proposal preparation and cost estimating.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, quality standards, and company safety programs.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of environmental remediation, environmental construction, or related project management experience.
• Experience managing environmental construction and remediation projects.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and field operations.
• Experience working with federal clients such as USACE, Department of Defense (DoD), EPA, NAVFAC, or similar agencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience preparing project proposals, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project.
• Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification or 8-Hour Refresher Certification.
• Ability to travel up to 25%-50% as required.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on Environmental Project Manager with extensive experience leading environmental remediation and construction projects for federal clients. They possess strong project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and field management experience while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Candidates with USACE, DoD, NAVFAC, or federal environmental contracting experience and professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or PE will be highly preferred.
