In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring employees are compensated accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. • Process semi-monthly, biweekly, or weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain payroll records, including wage adjustments, benefit deductions, and tax withholding.
• Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Respond promptly to employee inquiries about payroll, deductions, or tax issues.
• Assist with annual reporting requirements, including W-2 and 1099 processing.
• Calculate and process bonuses, overtime, and commissions where applicable.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate onboarding of employee information.
• Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations, including applicable state or regional requirements.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors or agencies when necessary.
