Healthcare Purchasing Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a Healthcare Purchasing Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Martinez, CA. This role supports critical purchasing and procurement operations within a respected healthcare services environment, helping departments obtain the supplies, services, and vendor support they need to operate effectively.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented administrative and procurement professional who enjoys purchase order management, vendor communication, documentation, and problem-solving. You will work closely with internal teams and suppliers in a fast-paced, mission-driven healthcare setting where accuracy, responsiveness, and teamwork make a direct impact.

The ideal candidate will appreciate a collaborative environment with supportive stakeholders, steady purchasing activity, and the opportunity to strengthen procurement, ERP, and healthcare operations experience.

• Create, process, track, and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate purchasing requests from multiple internal departments and help ensure timely fulfillment.
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, order status, delivery timelines, and issue resolution.
• Maintain purchasing records, vendor information, procurement documentation, and related files.
• Assist with invoice matching, purchase record verification, and procurement or contract-related documentation.
• Use Excel and ERP systems to monitor purchasing activity, update records, and support reporting needs.
