Sales Consultant - Furniture

Responsibilities

• Assist customers selecting home furnishings through a relational, consultative, informational approach.
• Know and understand features and benefits of our ever‑changing product line‑up.
• Utilize computer programs, spreadsheets, vendor websites, etc. to obtain correct information during the selling process.
• Provide follow‑up to inquiries.
• Maintain product in showroom.
• Problem solve and present creative solutions when needed.
• Work to meet the need of the customer.

• Previous sales experience a must.
• Proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
• Experience navigating websites, spreadsheets and point‑of‑purchase software (inventory keeping systems).
• Must have a positive outlook, be teachable, approachable and resilient.
• Must be available for all our retail hours:
  Tuesday – Saturday 9:30 – 6:00 and occasional special sales hours.
• Candidate will be required to complete a 1‑2 week sales training course before assisting customers.
