Responsibilities- Strategic Sales Planning:
Develop comprehensive sales plans and forecasts at the branch level and ensure sales objectives are met within budget. - Marketing Program Execution:
Collaborate on door‑to‑door, direct mail, inside and outside marketing programs to grow profit and expand Tru Green services, and share local insights with the marketing team. - Lead Generation:
Compile customer lists from various sources, assist in closing sales, and support outreach efforts. - Customer Satisfaction:
Resolve complaints related to sales and service, and manage new sale cancellation requests to retain customers. - Training and Development:
Conduct ongoing training for sales personnel on customer service, selling techniques, and safety policies. - Workflow Management:
Establish work procedures, schedules, and monitor sales performance of team members. - Performance Standards:
Create, implement, and maintain standards, measurements, and corrective actions to achieve approved plans. - Staffing and HR Management:
Recruit, interview, and staff 10+ peak representatives, assess performance, recommend salaries, and enforce disciplinary actions as per company policy.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or 2‑3 years of related experience in lawn/horticulture/agronomic field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven sales experience and strong leadership/team‑management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in sales analytics and CRM tools.
- Ability to travel to all door‑to‑door routes within the market.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
- Ability to calculate and communicate discounts, commissions, and volumes.
- Effective report writing and presentation skills.
- Data‑driven problem definition and conclusion drawing.
- Adaptability, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Sit, stand, walk, use hands and arms, speak, read, and speak with close vision; occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs. Work environment is low to moderate noise level with minimal adverse conditions. Fluency in English is required.
Benefits and PayPay Range: $65,980.00 – $ (range based on qualifications and experience). Most candidates start in the lower half of the range.
