Plumber Service Technician

Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and government properties. This role requires strong understanding of plumbing techniques, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The plumber will ensure that all plumbing installations meet local codes and regulations while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems and perform necessary repairs. Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and electricians on remodeling projects.

Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems. Maintain a clean and organized work area during all job assignments.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a plumber. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Strong understanding of basic math concepts for measurements and calculations. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standard. Excellent problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials.
