Orthodontic Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our Orthodontist. This position requires strong communication skills, and a passion for helping patients achieve beautiful smiles.

• Assist Orthodontist during procedures by preparing the treatment area and ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
• Perform medical imaging procedures such as Pan's, PA's, Bitewings, and iTero scans ensuring compliance with safety protocols including HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to fit bands, setup for bonding, steel tie and ormolasts for arch wires.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with practice protocols
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for patients, especially in pediatric dentistry settings.

Salary Range $21 to $24 per hour

• Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant
• Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures related to orthodontics is advantageous.
• Experience with medical imaging techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices will be beneficial when working with younger patients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient workflow within the clinic.
