Primary Responsibilities Spiritual Growth & Discipleship:
Develop and lead engaging, age‑appropriate Biblical teaching that connects Scripture to everyday life. Organize weekly youth gatherings, Bible studies, and small groups. Create an environment where students feel known, valued, and excited to grow in Christ.
Youth Programs &
Activities:
Plan and coordinate youth specific events, camps, retreats, and fellowship activities. Design programs that are interactive, fun, and spiritually impactful for this age group. Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed and engaged.
Relational Ministry & Mentorship:
Build strong, Christ‑centered relationships with youth students during a formative season of life. Be present and engaged in students’ lives through church, school events, and community activities when possible. Provide guidance, encouragement, and basic pastoral care appropriate to student needs.
Leadership & Administration:
Recruit, train, and support volunteers who have a heart for youth ministry. Assist in managing the youth ministry budget and resources. Align all programming with the mission, vision, and values of Trinity Baptist Ministries. Support additional ministry needs as directed by senior leadership.
- A clear and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Passion for working specifically with youth students and volunteers.
- Experience in youth ministry, education, or working with pre‑teens preferred.
- Ability to teach biblical truths in a creative, engaging, and age‑appropriate way.
- Strong relational, communication, and organizational skills.
