Telecommunications Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Superintendent to join our team for a large‑scale fiber‑to‑the‑home deployment project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day field operations, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Lead the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversee incident investigations.
• Review and update construction schedules, address delays, and contribute to project timelines.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Maintain knowledge of reporting and tracking financial aspects of the project.
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and fellow Superintendents.

• Three or more years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent.
• Experience in aerial fiber construction is required.
• Post‑secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to directly supervise craft employees and subcontractors.
• Problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Military experience equivalent to 12N Horizontal Construction Engineer and/or 12H Construction Engineering Supervisor.

• This is a site‑based position.
• Travel up to 40% of the time throughout the state of West Virginia.
