Interventional Cardiology Physician

Overview

We are seeking a full-time, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiology Physician to join a growing cardiovascular program in Eastern West Virginia. The successful candidate will practice a blend of general and interventional cardiology, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. This role also offers the option to participate in the education and training of residents.

In support of expanding access to cardiovascular services across the region, there may be occasions where providers are expected to rotate through additional affiliated sites and see patients as part of ensuring comprehensive regional coverage and continuity of care.

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, including both general and interventional cardiology services
• Perform interventional cardiology procedures in a modern, well-equipped setting
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of cardiac conditions
• Collaborate closely with cardiology colleagues, primary care providers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
• Optional:
  Actively engage in teaching and mentoring internal medicine residents

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of West Virginia
