Urgent Care Physician

We are seeking a flexible and patient-focused Urgent Care Physician to join a busy, multi-site urgent care network serving the Martinsburg, WV area. This opportunity is ideal for physicians who thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and value variety intheir work setting.

The Urgent Care Physician will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages in awalk-in urgent care setting. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts perweek, rotating to ensure coverage across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Candidates must have open availability and be comfortable floating between multiple clinic locations.

The clinics are open 7 daysper week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and are closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Provide efficient, evidence-based urgent care services
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float between urgent care locations as scheduled
• Participate in the education and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Schedule Highlights

• 3 rotating 12-hour shifts per week
• Coverage includes weekends and holidays

• No overnight shifts

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Active state medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• DEA registration required by start date
• Prior Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred
