Key

Qualifications:

• Current West Virginia teaching license
• Autism (AD) endorsement required
• Experience with K-5 and/or 3-5th grade students, ideally in special education
• Strong knowledge of best practices for instructing students with autism spectrum disorder
• Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Comfort with virtual interviews via Zoom

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver person-centered instruction to elementary-age students with autism
• Manage two primary caseloads (K-5 and 3-5 classrooms)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including related service providers and general educators
• Engage families in student progress meetings and IEP development
• Monitor and document student outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in ongoing professional development when available
