Finance Manager

Carter Myers Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial operations across our Virginia retail automotive dealerships. In this role, you will own budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, providing clear insights that drive profitability and support strategic decisions. You will oversee month-end close, cash flow, and compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Partner closely with sales and service leaders on pricing and financing strategies, analyze departmental performance, and recommend process and cost improvements.

You will also mentor finance staff and help enhance financial systems in a collaborative, growth-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dealership and retail finance operations across multiple locations
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Analyze profitability of departments and recommend cost improvements
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
• Partner with sales and service leaders on pricing and financing strategies
• Manage cash flow, inventory financing, and vendor relationships
• Support dealership leadership with data-driven financial insights
