Data Entry Operator II - Night Shift

Amentum is seeking a Data Entry Operator II to join our team supporting ATF. This is a night shift role, working hours 3pm–11:30pm. The Data Entry Operator II is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering information provided by a variety of sources, including paper, media, fax, and telephone. The position uses keyboard‑controlled data entry devices such as a computer, key‑operated magnetic tape, or disc encoder to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing.

• Accurately and efficiently perform data entry of forms and reports specific to the assignment area and other forms as directed by supervisor.
• Prepping, labeling and filing records in preparation for document imaging.
• Identifying and submitting potential problems or issues to the appropriate level of management.
• Using keyboard, web browsers, and basic Microsoft Office applications to access and navigate various computer functions.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow company policies and procedures.
• Experience in performing work requiring attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good sense of time management and the ability to work under time constraints.
• Understanding of the importance of consistently delivering high‑quality work.
• Team‑oriented, strong customer‑service orientation.
• Basic computer skills, including accurate use of keyboard, familiarity with web browsers and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Ability to lift up to 40pounds and perform frequent repetitive motions with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.
• Ability to apply experience and judgment in selecting procedures and searching for, interpreting, and selecting items to be entered from a variety of documented sources.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization. US citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at the work location.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three months experience in a current position.

• Hourly pay: $18.55 (may vary based on factors such as responsibilities, education, experience, skills, equity, market data, applicable agreements).
• Hourly position eligible for overtime, falls under Service Contract Act (SCA).
• In addition to base hourly rate, eligible to receive health and welfare payment for each hour worked.
