An entry-level operational role focused on the final stages of production. This position is responsible for efficiently packaging finished products, inspecting items for defects or contamination, maintaining strict quality control, and ensuring an organized warehouse flow.
Requirements Qualifications & RequirementsAttention to Detail:
Ability to spot small product defects, sealing errors, or foreign materials quickly.
Punctuality & Reliability:
Strong attendance record and the ability to maintain steady speed on a fast-moving packaging line.
Teamwork:
Ability to communicate clearly and coordinate work seamlessly with line operators and supervisors.
Hygiene & Cleanliness:
High standard of personal hygiene and awareness, as this role handles finished goods.
Duties & Responsibilities
Product Packaging:
Manually pack finished goods into designated bags, boxes, or containers according to packaging specifications.
Palletizing & Staging:
Stack and arrange product packages onto pallets using the correct pattern and required package count per pallet. Deliver completed pallets to the product warehouse.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate the packer/packaging machine when required. Promptly inform a supervisor or operator if settings need adjustment.
Labeling Accuracy:
Ensure barcodes and tracking labels are applied correctly to completed pallets and bags without unnecessary waste.
Quality Control, Safety & Housekeeping
Seal Inspection:
Continuously check the glued or sealed edges of packages after processing to ensure no openings are left.
Contamination Control:
Actively inspect the interior and exterior of packages to ensure the complete removal of hairs, insects, or any foreign substances.
Defect Escalation:
Immediately notify the machine operator or supervisor of any non-conformities, miscounts, or machine malfunctions.
Station Cleanliness:
Keep packaging tables, surrounding machine areas, and surfaces clean and swept throughout the shift and fully arranged at the end of the shift.
Conditions:
The manufacturing floor is typically noisy. Climates and seasons can determine a fluctuating temperature which leads to the floor being both very hot and cold.
Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
