Registered Nurse

Administer nursing care to patients at Welch Community Hospital. Assist in planning and evaluating nursing care of assigned patients, ensuring the highest standards of practice and adherence to healthcare policies and regulations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing intake assessments, administering first aid and medications, and performing screenings. Work may also include administrative duties, such as maintaining health records for all patients, developing individualized care plans, entering information into various electronic systems, and disseminating information to physicians, supervisors, and other staff members.

Performs related duties as required.

Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position.

Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Applicants must successfully pass a background check.
