Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Cath Lab RN:
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Prepare patients for procedures and provide education on expectations and recovery
Monitor and document patient hemodynamics throughout procedures
Administer medications and sedation as appropriate
Maintain and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment
Ensure a sterile, safe procedural environment
Support post-procedure patient recovery and ongoing assessment
Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members
Requirements of the Cardiac Cath Lab RN:
Active West Virginia RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
BLS and ACLS required
Minimum  2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and hemodynamics
Ability to respond quickly in high-acuity, time-sensitive settings
