Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Martinsburg, WV

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

• Circulate and/or scrub surgical cases across a high-volume OR environment operating 24/7, handling 35–45 cases per day across 9 OR suites, 1 procedure room, and 1 hybrid room
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including general, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, robotics (Da Vinci and Rosa), neuro spine, vascular, pediatric, podiatry, sports medicine, and emergent cases
• Serve as the sole RN on overnight shifts alongside two OR technicians, requiring full independence and comfort managing all surgical service lines
• Assist with robotic surgery cases, including passing arms in and out for robotic-assisted procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call coverage with a 30-minute response time requirement
• Assist with room turnover as needed, as no dedicated housekeeping or aide staff are present in the department

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2–3 years of Operating Room experience
• 2–3 prior travel assignments required
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic surgery, including robotics arm-passing technique
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

• PALS certification preferred
• Scrubbing experience is a plus, though not required for RNs
• Experience across all OR surgical service lines strongly preferred, particularly for evening, night, and weekend shifts

• Work in a dynamic, high-acuity OR environment with exposure to a wide variety of surgical specialties and advanced robotic technology
• Scrubs are provided for all OR staff
