- Must be comfortable circulating cases.

Description:

The OR unit consists of 9 ORs, 1 procedure room, and 1 hybrid room. An average of 35-45 surgical cases are performed daily. Common cases include general surgery, ENT, eyes, orthopedics, and trauma. Robotic surgeries are performed using Da Vinci and Rosa systems. Pediatric cases primarily involve dental and ENT procedures. Emergent cases include appendectomies, traumas, and cranial surgeries. Traveling RNs must be willing to take on charge nurse responsibilities.

Evening and night shift staff will include 2 techs for support. Scrubbing is required for RNs, and flexibility is a plus. There are varying shift schedules, primarily days and evenings. On-call rotations include weeknights and weekends. Response time for on-call is 30 minutes. Staffing on the unit is primarily made up of travelers. Standard scrubs will be provided.
