Registered Nurse - Operating Room
This is a 13-week contract position, requiring 12-hour shifts for three days a week, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Call rotation during holidays may be necessary.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-level patient care within the Operating Room, working with a diverse surgical team to deliver services across multiple specialties. The position demands expertise in robotic surgery and orthopedic cases, and familiarity with EPIC charting systems.
Circulate and scrub during surgery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Work collaboratively with OR techs and other surgical staff.
Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as necessary.
Participate in holiday and on-call rotations according to unit requirements.
2-3 years of experience in the Operating Room specialty.
2-3 previous travel assignments preferred.
Must have experience passing instruments for robotic surgery.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS; PALS is preferred.
Valid RN license required; must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
