Registered Nurse - PCU/Tele

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
12-hour night shifts, working 3 nights per week with rotating weekends and holidays.
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse will provide care in a PCU/Tele unit that consists of two floors with a total of 42 beds. The unit focuses on tele-acuity patients, and may transition some patients to a stepdown unit in the future.
- Monitor patient conditions using Telemetry equipment.
- Administer medications and manage IV drips as per protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient care.
- Document nursing assessments and interventions in the EPIC charting system.
- Orient and precept new team members if assigned to charge roles.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure valid for practice.
- Experience in a PCU or telemetry setting preferred but first-time travelers are welcome.
