Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Perioperative Surgical Staffing

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Operating Room (OR) Technicians for perioperative surgical staffing. This position involves providing specialized patient care in a high-volume surgical environment, supporting various complex procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the OR setting.
• Assist in passing instruments and maintaining sterile technique during robotic and traditional surgeries.
• Circulate cases and coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and technical staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols, including EMR documentation and equipment handling within EPIC.
• Manage emergency situations, including trauma and emergent procedures like appendectomies and stabbings.
• Support float and coverage across multiple OR specialties, including neuro spine, orthopedics, vascular, pediatrics, and ENT.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2-3 years of OR experience.
• Demonstrate previous travel assignments in perioperative or surgical environments.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred for RNs.
• Have experience passing arms in robotic cases, specifically with EPIC EMR systems.
• OR Techs must have BLS certification; CST preferred.
• Exhibit strong case management and team collaboration skills in high-pressure settings.
