Registered Nurse - Med Surg Ortho/Neuro
This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule consists of 3x12 hour night shifts, with every other weekend and rotating holidays.
As a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg Ortho/Neuro unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with various orthopedic and neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery.
- Participate in procedures and provide post-operative care as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license in good standing.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of arrhythmias and fatal rhythm recognition.
