We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Supervisor in Martinsburg, WV with a local manufacturing company.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Food science, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing required; food manufacturing or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of SQF, GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality systems
  • SQF Practitioner Certification required
  • HACCP Certification required or ability to obtain after hire
  • Internal Auditor or ISO experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support the Quality team to ensure products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain compliance with SQF, GMP, HACCP, and all food safety and quality programs
  • Conduct routine quality inspections, GMP audits, and internal process audits
  • Assist with customer, regulatory, and third‑party audits, including corrective actions
  • Train, coach, and develop Quality employees while assisting with new hire orientation and onboarding
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and documentation
  • Investigate quality concerns and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Verify equipment calibration and maintain accurate quality records
  • Coordinate staffing coverage and work closely with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Safety departments
  • Support the Quality Manager with certifications, projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and other departmental needs
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing facility with exposure to noise and varying temperatures
  • Required to wear all company-issued PPE
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to climb stairs and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
  • Occasional overtime may be required during audits, projects, or peak production periods

Hours:

Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Pay Rate: $30.00/hour
