Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
2-5 years of formulation, product development, or applied R&D experience
Experience with aerosol products, coatings, adhesives, household chemicals, or similar products is preferred
Knowledge of experimental design and Design of Experiments (DOE)
Strong laboratory skills and familiarity with analytical testing methods
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational and technical writing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with LIMS or laboratory documentation systems is a plus
Responsibilities:- Developing and evaluating new aerosol and liquid formulations
- Researching new raw materials, technologies, and chemistries
- Designing and executing laboratory testing, stability studies, and performance evaluations
- Analyzing data and preparing technical reports and recommendations
- Supporting pilot batches and production scale-ups
- Working closely with Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams to transition formulations from the lab to manufacturing
- Assisting with customer projects, technical investigations, and product improvements
- Maintaining detailed laboratory documentation and ensuring safe laboratory practices
