A well-established energy services and building automation provider is seeking an experienced BAS Technician to support installation, commissioning, and service of Building Automation Systems across commercial and industrial facilities throughout West Virginia.
This is a hands‑on field role suited to a technically strong professional with proven Niagara Tridium (N4) experience who enjoys troubleshooting, commissioning, and delivering high-quality building control solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Install, program, commission, and service BAS/BMS systems
- Work extensively with Tridium Niagara (N4) including controller setup, integration, graphics creation, and system configuration
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on control systems
- Commission HVAC systems including AHUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, pumps, and central plant equipment
- Integrate third‑party systems using BACnet, Modbus, and other communication protocols
- Read and interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation
- Support project delivery alongside Project Managers and Engineers
- Complete service documentation, reports, and as‑built updates
- Provide client‑facing technical support and occasional training
- Proven experience as a BAS/BMS Technician
- Strong hands‑on experience with Tridium Niagara (N4 experience essential; certification preferred)
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies
- Experience with field devices, controllers, sensors, and control panels
- Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding capability
- Working knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, Lon Works or similar protocols
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally within West Virginia
- Niagara AX or N4 Certification
- Technical background in HVAC, Electrical, or Controls
- Experience in healthcare, education, industrial, or mission‑critical environments
- Exposure to energy management and system optimization projects
