Compensation: $50 per hour
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, this position works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families served. The role involves providing counseling or therapy, advocacy, and support to help families and youth live safely and successfully in the community.
Responsibilities- Actively support, represent, and extend the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Provide appropriate individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, transportation, and other professional services, meeting or exceeding established outcome thresholds on behalf of persons served.
- Travel daily to provide community‑based services to, and on behalf of, youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
- Complete all required training in a timely manner.
- Consistently achieve established productivity thresholds.
- Coordinate and monitor services for youth and family in the community, including but not limited to mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.
- Regularly review and modify youth‑based plans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned foster parents and families of origin.
- Assist in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youth’s primary family or other permanent living arrangements consistent with the youth’s case plan.
- Provide safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required to assure safety and stability for youth served.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Actively participate in the weekly supervision process.
- Independent contractor role; must be licensed (LICSW, LMFT, or LPC) and responsible for completing diagnostic assessments, providing individual therapy, and developing service plans.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or a comparable human services field from an accredited institution.
- Two years of direct‑service experience with youth and families preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible and non‑traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served.
- Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function, demonstrating tolerance, respect, and sensitivity to diverse cultural, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds.
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, fax machines, photocopiers, word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability.
