Role Description

The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Martinsville, IN. This role is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and overseeing the sales process from initial inquiry to signed contracts. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with prospective customers, assessing project needs, preparing estimates and proposals, and following up on leads. The Sales Manager collaborates with the construction and operations teams to ensure accurate scope, timelines, and pricing.

The role also involves monitoring sales performance, contributing to local marketing efforts, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue and expand the customer base.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in sales, customer relationship management, and closing deals in a construction, home improvement, or related industry.
  • Experience in project estimation, proposal development, and basic understanding of residential construction processes and materials.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
  • Proven organizational and time management abilities, including managing multiple leads, follow-ups, and projects simultaneously.
  • Comfort with using basic digital tools (e.g., CRM systems, email, spreadsheets) to track leads, proposals, and sales performance.
  • Previous leadership or team coordination experience is beneficial, particularly in a sales or construction environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local client visits and site assessments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business, sales, or construction is a plus.
