Description:

Ameri Staff is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for a leading materials manufacturer dedicated to enhancing quality of life. This position is located in Martinsville, VA. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree and have prior customer service or sales experience.

BENEFITS OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:

Hours:

10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay: $21 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:
  • Create and maintain customer files
  • Answer incoming calls, process orders, and generate invoices
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and stay informed on competitor offerings
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues
  • Present pricing, credit terms, and conditions in line with company policies
  • Process customer warranties and returns
  • Monitor promotional pack inventory and assemble additional packs as needed
  • Support Outside Sales Representatives
  • Cross-train in production planning to assist with physical inventory counts
  • Cross-train in shipping to support order fulfillment
  • Uphold all safety policies and procedures
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the manager
REQUIREMENTS OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:
  • Previous customer service and/or sales experience required
  • Experience with Salesforce and SAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer skills
