Key Responsibilities- Instructional Leadership
:
Champion early literacy, foundational numeracy, and evidence-based instructional practices tailored for elementary learners. - Culture & Community
:
Build a positive, inclusive, and trauma-informed school culture that celebrates diversity and supports social-emotional learning (SEL). - Talent Development
:
Mentor, coach, and retain high-quality elementary teachers and staff. - Strategic Operations
:
Oversee daily school operations, budgeting, and resource allocation aligned with student achievement goals.
- Master’s Degree in education administration and considerable administrative and educational experience.
- Postgraduate Professional License with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision, PreK-12, or an equivalent level of education and experience.
- A deep understanding of early childhood development and elementary curriculum standards.
- Skill in effective communication, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other District employees and the general public.
- Ability to motivate others to reach their fullest potential.
- Ability to plan and supervise the work of others.
- Ability to set expectations, build capacity, model learning, lead symbolically, manage effectively, and respond to constituent groups and the community.
