AVID Tutor
Martinsville Middle School and Martinsville High School
Dates:
Beginning August 14, 2023 for the Academic School Year
Hours:
5 hours per week. Plus 4 hours of initial training before tutoring begins.
AVID Tutors will be paid at $15 an hour.
Closing Date:
Open until Filled
Qualifications:
- The AVID system provides mentoring and tutoring to enable students to have academic success and to be better prepared for college.
- AVID Tutors will assist AVID Elective Teachers in tutorology sessions, notebook checks, making copies of required forms and materials, mentoring duties, and any related assigned duties.
