Registered Nurse; RN - Primary Care

Position Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care in support of primary care operations.
• Obtain patient history and assess patient condition.
• Develop and document nursing plans of care.
• Carry out physician orders and document services in the medical record.
• Administer medications and IV therapies.
• Monitor response to medications and changes in patient condition.
• Support patient and family instruction and discharge planning.
• Use emergency equipment, including monitors, EKG machines, and defibrillators.
• Participate in team huddles, meetings, and quality activities as required.

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Current CPR certification from an American Heart Association vendor.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS if assigned to a specialty clinic.
• Minimum one year of direct patient care experience within the last three years.
• VA experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain VA credentialing and clearance requirements.

• U.S. Citizen; or
• Permanent Resident/Green Card holder with a Social Security Number and must have resided within the United States for the past three years;
• No sponsorship available.
