- Martinsville, part of Lifepoint Health, is offering a 12 month Nurse Residency Program for newly graduated Registered Nurses. The program is structured around three phases—clinical competence, culture transition, and leadership development—to support your transition into a confident, competent RN.

During the residency you will:

• Develop clinical skills with hands on practice and one on one support from a trained preceptor.
• Engage in self paced learning modules and knowledge checks.
• Participate in patient safety, communication, health care business, and change management workshops.
• Complete a capstone project focused on evidence based practice.

Core responsibilities include:

• Perform comprehensive assessments, identify patient needs, and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to deliver safe, high quality care.
• Adapt to a fast paced environment, manage time, and prioritize patient care.
• Show curiosity, ask questions, seek feedback, and continuously build clinical knowledge and confidence.

Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Registered Nurse licensure.
• BCLS certification.

Schedule:

Three 12 hour shifts:
Days (7 a.m. –7 p.m.) and Nights (7 a.m. –7 p.m.) every other weekend.
