• Develop and implement plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate.
• Detect changes in patient status, report to the appropriate health‑care team member, and utilize resources according to acuity.
• Assign priorities to patient problems, giving the greatest priority to the most urgent and critical issues.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Ensure completion of diagnostic work‑ups and support services as requested.

• Graduate of a professional school of nursing.
• Current valid Virginia RN license or compact state licence.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• One year of oncology nursing experience preferred.

Hourly rate: $33.19 – $44.81 per hour.
