Position Overview
Piedmont Community Services is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse (LPN or RN) to provide nursing services to children, adults, and substance abuse clients in the Martinsville Crisis Intervention Team Center. The role involves delivering nursing duties that meet PCS standards, performing psychiatric nursing services, coordinating with local doctors’ offices and pharmacies, and supporting client care. The position requires an R‑N or L‑P, preferred one‑year psychiatric or emergency department experience, strong computer skills, familiarity with standard office equipment, and personal transportation.
Evening, weekend, and some holiday hours are required. Pay is commensurate with education and experience.
Must be Licensed RN or LPN, with one‑year psychiatric nursing or emergency department experience preferred. Must have good computer skills and be familiar with standard office equipment. Must provide personal transportation for meetings and other sites.
Background ScreeningMust be willing to consent to background checks, including checks for barrier crimes, and drug screening as part of the application process.
