Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position located in a community hospital setting. The role involves providing high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced emergency department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering compassionate and efficient patient care, adhering to hospital protocols, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

• Schedule:
  
  Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Licensure and certifications required to work as an RN in Virginia, including ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC. One year of emergency nursing experience preferred; recent graduates with less experience may be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience handling chest pain, CHF, COPD, psychological conditions; professional, positive, compassionate, and team-oriented personality fit.
• Additional Information:
  The hospital has a 34-bed emergency department serving all age groups. Patient ratios are approximately 1:5. The department uses Medhost electronic health record system. Candidates must be willing to work on an as-needed basis during the assigned contract period, starting from 10/06/2026 through 01/05/2027. All travelers are required to complete agency-mandated drug screening and criminal background questionnaires.
