The Casing
- Forklift Operator I role is based at the Virginia Service Center DC
- Casing, where the company operates a fast‑paced and dynamic warehouse environment.
The company is seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join its team, contributing to the efficient operation of the warehouse and ensuring the safe handling of products.
The role- Operate a forklift to move products and materials within the warehouse, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations
- Load and unload products from trailers and containers, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and updates, using computerized systems and software
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members to achieve productivity and quality goals, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the forklift, reporting any issues or defects to management
- Possess a valid forklift operator certification, with a strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
- Have at least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment, with a proven track record of safety and efficiency
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management
- Possess basic computer skills, with experience using inventory management software and systems
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in math and problem‑solving skills
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with the ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
