The Supervisor, Warehouse, oversees all aspects of shipping and receiving at the warehouse and provides supervision for a team to ensure tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time. The qualified candidate should have warehousing experience and be able to ensure that all tasks are performed in a safe manner. Strong attention to detail and good supervisory skills are essential.

• Oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving, ensuring that production is supplied on time and that shipping and receiving are on track.
• Supervise team members.
• Approve team member timecards.
• Maintain the equipment and facilities.
• Monitor and count inventory as required.
• Perform administrative tasks as required.
• Ensure that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred Education:
  
  Associate or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. OSHA-approved forklift certification is also preferred.
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Two or more years of experience in shipping and receiving in a warehouse environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• Valid current driver’s license is required.
• Ability to use warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of warehouse functions.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
• Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for prolonged periods.
• Good supervisory skills and the ability to train and mentor staff.
• Knowledge of all applicable safety procedures.
• Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to print reports.
• Good attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexibility, and the ability to adapt as priorities change.
• Ability to use diplomacy as required.
• Ability to perform physical activities, such as lifting items up to 100 lbs. unassisted, bending, standing, climbing or walking.
• Visual and hearing acuity.

• Working within a warehouse environment.
• Freezer and cooler conditions.
• Office as needed.
