Freestate Electric is expanding and looking for a detail-oriented Billing / AR Clerk to support our growing electrical construction operations. If you have construction billing experience and understand job costing, progress billing, and collections, we’re ready to bring you on board.
Responsibilities- Preparing and submitting customer invoices (including progress and time & material billing)
- Assisting with AIA billing and pay applications
- Tracking retainage and contract billing schedules
- Monitoring accounts receivable aging and following up on past-due balances
- Posting payments and reconciling customer accounts
- Working closely with project managers to ensure accurate billing
- 2+ years of billing or AR experience (construction preferred)
- Knowledge of AIA billing, retainage, and job costing
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and communicate professionally with customers
