Staff Accountant

We are looking for a full-time Senior Accountant to support the day‑to‑day accounting, month‑end, and year‑end close processes by providing technical expertise in general ledger activities for a rapidly growing company. We are not looking for a consultant or 1099 employee.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control
• Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
• Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Reconcile corporate credit card accounts
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Review and reconcile intercompany transactions
• Provide additional analysis as required and special projects as assigned.
• Understands requirements and processing of 1099s for vendors, IRS reporting and tax return preparation
• Assists in the development of new accounting systems, system conversions, upgrades and testing
• Oversee the processing of Accounts Payable transactions ensuring invoices (purchase order invoices and non‑purchase order invoices) are vouchered timely

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience (Preferred)
• Active CPA license (Preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Experience with Quick Books and other accounting software (Required)
• Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
• Highly detail-oriented
• Knowledge and experience working with a multi‑business company

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 – based on experience
